Privacy policy
Last updated October 25, 2026
threeDMouse is published by WRAX Studios. The Android app sends motion and button commands from your phone to a computer you pair over Bluetooth, so you can move a 3D view. This policy describes the Android app, the Windows companion, and this website.
On the phone
Bluetooth. The app reads names and addresses of nearby Bluetooth devices so you can pick the computer to connect to. The connection uses the standard Bluetooth serial profile. Device addresses are used only to connect. They are not sent to the developer.
Motion. The app reads the gyroscope and rotation sensors and turns them into orientation updates. Those updates are sent live over Bluetooth to the computer you paired. They are not stored by the developer and are not uploaded.
Location. On Android 11 and earlier, Android requires location permission to scan for Bluetooth devices. The app does not read GPS coordinates or a place history. On Android 12 and later it does not request location.
Settings stored on the phone. Dark mode, incremental speed, and language are saved in app preferences. If Android backup is turned on for this phone, those preferences may be included in your device backup.
Usage data sent to Google
The Android app includes Firebase Analytics. When Firebase is configured for the installed build, the app sends usage events such as connection started, connection failed, disconnect, motion mode, screen lock, theme, and speed. Those events describe app state, not your designs, the sensor stream, or a Bluetooth address. Firebase also receives an app-instance identifier and device details such as model, operating system version, and language. Collection of the advertising ID is turned off, and the app does not show ads. Google describes how it handles Firebase data at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
On the PC
The Windows companion runs on your computer. It listens for a Bluetooth connection from the phone and applies orientation and button commands to the CAD application in front. Those commands are used live. They are not uploaded.
If Fusion is installed, the companion copies a small add-in into that app’s add-ins folder. If Blender is installed, it writes a startup script into Blender’s scripts folder. Those files stay on your computer so those apps can receive the view commands.
The companion does not ask for an account. It does not send your models, sensor history, or Bluetooth address to the developer.
This website
This site is a static download page. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not set its own cookies or run its own analytics. Choosing the Windows download saves a file to your computer. The host of the site may keep ordinary connection logs, such as an IP address and the page requested.
What threeDMouse does not do
- There is no account.
- The apps do not ask for your name, email, or contacts.
- Data is not sold.
How long data is kept
Motion updates exist only for the live Bluetooth session. Preferences stay on the phone until you clear the app storage or uninstall threeDMouse. Files the Windows companion copies for Fusion or Blender stay in those apps’ folders until you delete them. If Firebase is configured, Analytics retention follows that Firebase project.
